The inspiration behind Peg’s Presents

🎄“Christmas, my child, is love in action.” ~ Dale Evans

Peg’s Presents began from the love of a very generous mom, and she was quite the awesome gift-giver!
When I was a teen, my parents opened their home — our home  — to many foster children of all personalities, ages and ethnicities, and my mom would love to surprise my dad, me, and all of the foster children with fun gifts and treats throughout the year (she did love to shop!).
Christmas was always extra special, as we all got to enjoy mom’s bounty of so many wrapped presents waiting for us under our Christmas tree — it was so exciting to run downstairs in our PJs to see what “Santa” left for us!
After my mom passed suddenly in 2010, I knew I had to create something special in her honor, so I began Peg’s Presents to help KIDS be KIDS and put some fun in their holiday season, but we cannot do it alone.
So, I ask that you give a little (or give a lot) to help us help the kids we serve from Dignity Housing.
